42nd Annual Boydton Day Celebration

The 42nd Annual Boydton Day Celebration, sponsored by the Boydton Day Committee, is one of the longest running events in the region. We will “kick off” the event with our Annual Vespers Service at 7:00 PM on Friday, October 26, 2018, at the Historic Presbyterian Church located on Hull Street in Boydton, Virginia. We will feature bands such as: Chance of Snow, Sanctified Power, that will perform throughout the entire event!  A  children’s dance troop, “Dance It Out,” will also perform!  Plans for this year’s event are underway, & we are looking forward to having you with us. This year we are expanding to include an Antique Tractor Show, Antique cars and Antique Motorcycles! A Quilt Show and NEW this year, a Children’s Quilt Show,  petting zoo, kid’s crafts & games, demonstrations, BACK THIS YEAR a game trailer which will be parked in the kids area offering for FREE over 150+ Title game library & your choice of XBOX360, XBOX One, PS4, & Wii ; anyone can play games inside the trailer and on the outside of the trailer as well &  there is so much more to enjoy! The Boydton Rescue Squad will be offering melt in your mouth, flavorful, BBQ and Boston Butts also available for preorder at 434-265-0862!  If you want  something delicious to carry home  try  The Volunteer Fire Department’s scrumptious Brunswick Stew! You can make reservations by submitting the Vendor Application & Vendor Information Form, that you will find below to print, with your check & mail it to: Boydton Day Celebration, PO BOX 191, Boydton, VA 23917.  Interested Vendors may also come into the Town Hall , located at 461 Madison Street, Boydton Virginia 23917 ,  to fill out and submit a completed application.  The deadline to submit the  Vendor Application  will be October 15th.  Please do not expect to know your precise location number before October 21st.
